There is still a chance of some thunderstorms in the afternoon as a cold front lying in our area combined with the hot afternoon.
Irene is now a hurricane with winds of 75 mph. This is probably the current environment surrounding the storm Irene stronger will. The last track of the storm that leads north from Hispainola, north of Cuba through the Bahamas and the coast of Florida and eventually making landfall in southeastern Georgia.
